  • Rice vinegar 1 tsp
  • Root ginger ½ tsp [finely chopped]
  • ¼ green capsicum [finely chopped]
  • White sesame seeds 1 tbsp

  • Lee Kum Kee Chiu Chow Chili Oil 2 tsp
  • Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce 2 tsp
  • 2 red chilies [finely chopped]

How to make it

  1. Whisk all the ingredients together until mixed well and simmer on a low heat for 5 minutes.
     
  2. Taste and adjust the seasoning with more red chilies if you like it spicy.
     
  3. If using for cooking or glazing, add 1 tablespoon of water and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar before cooking.
